Position Overview:
Accounts with a solid background in the real estate industry to support our finance operations. The ideal candidate must have at least 4 years of experience in the real estate/construction sector, and strong technical expertise in financial accounting and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Accounting & Finalization:
Preparation and finalization of accounts as per applicable accounting standards.
Periodic closing of books and reconciliation of ledgers.
Preparation of MIS and financial reports for management review.
GST & Taxation:
Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST returns, reconciliation, and input tax credit management.
Compliance with TDS provisions, deduction, deposit, and return filing.
Coordination with auditors and consultants for tax audits and statutory compliance.
ERP & Inventory Accounting:
Hands-on experience in SAP or similar ERP software, specifically with the Inventory and Accounting Modules.
Accurate recording and tracking of materials, purchases, and consumption across projects.
Project Feasibility & Cost Monitoring:
Assist in preparation and analysis of project feasibility reports including cost estimations and cash flow projections.
Track actual expenses vs. budget for ongoing construction projects.
Domain Understanding:
In-depth understanding of key functions such as procurement, billings, vendor management, and site operations.
Coordinate with site teams for timely billing, certification, and payment processing.
Compliance & Controls:
Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and company policies.
Liaise with internal and statutory auditors for smooth conduct of audits.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
At least 4 years in a real estate/construction company, and
Preference will be given to candidate worked in CA office for 2 years for accounting and finance roles.
Proficiency in SAP (or similar ERP software) with experience in inventory accounting modules.
Strong working knowledge of GST, TDS, and other tax compliance.
Experience in preparation and analysis of project feasibility/costing reports.
